The design of the course is intended for students in preparation to be legal and administrative experts.Regional EconomicsThe objective of this course is to cultivate practical knowledge and the ability to handle problems concerned with regional economies, industrial enterprise, financing, statistics, and surveys.Language and Culture / Socio-cultural StudiesLanguage and CultureIn response to the needs of an internationalized and information-oriented society, this course is designed to foster students who can analyze and resolve real problems such as intercultural exchanges and conflicts. In addition, it is designed to improve the abilities of students who are involved in academic research on comparative studies of cultures based on their language problems of choice, i.e. Japanese, Chinese, English, German, or French, and its literature.Socio-cultural StudiesThis course consists of four branches: sociology, geography, cultural anthropology, and history, archaeology. The purpose of this course is to cultivate abilities to handle social and cultural issues in the region, as well as international relations and cultural exchange from an interdisciplinary viewpoint.
